This shaker with a three-dimensional tumbling motion and large angle of inclination produces thorough yet gentle mixing without foaming. Both the speed and the angle of inclination of this small shaker are fixed to ensure optimum stirring performance for mixing samples in small containers. The dimpled mat holds tubes firmly in place. Can be loaded with 60 x 1.5 ml tubes, 30 x 3 ml or 21 x 7 ml blood tubes, 17 x 15 ml or 9 x 50 ml centrifuge tubes. Housing made of high impact strength polystyrene, finished in off-white. The base plate is made of electrolytically galvanized, powder-coated sheet steel, the shaking platform of anodised aluminium, equipped with four plastic pins. Clearly laid out control panels for easy operation and an a.c. motor with overload protection drives the unit. Stepless, electronic speed control, with soft-start and quiet operation.
